About Us Vision | Culture | Community Impact | Community Support & Outreach | Strategic Nonviolence Community Impact Raising Awareness EarthSave San Diego publishes direct mailings, electronic mail-based calendars of the events and action updates, publications, and local website resources which will reach hundreds of thousands of individuals on an annual basis. Educating the Public Our cutting-edge educational outreach and support programs will reach thousands of people in our community with current information about the positive benefits of a plant-based diet. Our local awareness campaigns are the most cutting-edge of any local EarthSave chapter. EarthSave San Diego engages in monthly support and outreach programs such as our Vegetarian Potlucks, Vegetarian Dineouts, cooking classes, and natural food store tours. EarthSave San Diego also participated in WorldFest 2000 in July and in October, 2000, Earth Day at Balboa Park in April, 2001, and its second annual Turkey-Free Thanksgiving on November 17th!
